The hands-on half of our guide — which systems, which phones, which apps, and exactly how to get an urgent-low text to land on a parent's flip phone, including whether a smartwatch can cover school hours on its own.
This week in one place: why twiist won't let me bolus at 80, soaking a new sensor and whether it costs you days, and this week's Forum – your letters on the blocked bolus, Libre recalls, Medtronic sensors, and a faulty cassette.
Your letters on twiist's blocked bolus – a pump that should ask if you've eaten, a loop-off trick, and a faulty cassette – plus your soaking questions: Libre recalls, the warm-up, Medtronic sensors, and a G7 test trick.
You can put a new sensor in before the old one runs out and start it later. On a Libre that costs you nothing. On a Dexcom G7 the sensor's clock may already be running, so timing matters.
