The Friends With Diabetes Daily Loop is a private blog for the Friends With Diabetyes community — a daily companion for families living with Type 1 diabetes within the Jewish world.

Each day brings a practical post on something that's actually working: a Shabbos meal tip, a halachic insight, a parenting moment, a hard-won lesson from someone who's been there. The kind of knowledge that usually takes years to figure out on your own.

Who we are

Friends With Diabetes International is a nonprofit serving Jewish families living with Type 1 diabetes. Founded in 2000 by Rabbi Hirsch Meisels, FWD has been a steady source of education, halachic guidance, support, and connection ever since.
